Disabled Veterans Outdoors (DVO) is a 501(c)3 non-profit veterans' charity operated by a highly dedicated staff comprised entirely of unpaid volunteers. While we are based in Southeastern Ohio, we host events in many different counties within the state and also occasionally outside of Ohio.
In 2025 Disabled Veterans Outdoors (DVO) celebrates a decade of changing lives by giving back to those who have given so much. Since our founding in 2015, we have been faithfully serving our veteran community, helping them participate in and enjoy activities they may not otherwise be able to experience or afford without our specialized assistance.
Disabled Veterans Outdoors (DVO) provides free outdoor recreational programs for any honorably discharged veteran who is now disabled for any reason.
Disabled Veterans Outdoors (DVO) aim is to make a difference in the lives of our disabled veterans by providing outdoor activities to them at no cost and giving them the opportunity to interact with other disabled veterans.
Our organization is built on a foundation of compassion, integrity, and accountability. We believe in treating everyone with dignity and respect, and we are committed to using our resources in the most effective and efficient way possible.
Our team is made up of highly dedicated volunteers who are passionate about making a difference in our communities. We work tirelessly to ensure that our programs and services are meeting the needs of those we serve. No one gets a paycheck, from the President on down, which further distinguishes our veteran outdoor organization from most others.
